Privacy Policy

Westwood Games, Inc. · Delaware, United States

Effective October 8, 2026 · Version 2026-10-08

1. Who is responsible

Westwood Games, Inc., a Delaware corporation in the United States, operates Lord of the Roosters and is responsible for the personal information described here. Contact westwoodequity@gmail.com with privacy questions or requests. This policy covers our website and game, not independently operated services such as Google or a payment provider.

We explain what information is processed, why, who receives it and your choices. Acceptance records show that this notice was presented and acknowledged; they are not blanket consent to optional advertising or other unrelated processing.

2. Information we collect

Account information includes email, user ID, username, display name, sign-in provider and authentication records. Password authentication is handled by our authentication provider; passwords are not shown to other players. Google sign-in may supply profile identifiers, name, email and profile information you authorize.

Game information includes collection and card instances, decks, matches and actions, rankings, progression, quests, Kingdom holdings, resources, friends, preferences and reward history. Transaction information includes order identifiers, prices, currency, payment status, purchase receipts and fulfillment records. We record policy versions, server-recorded acceptance time, acceptance source and self-attested age/guardian eligibility, not a birth date in the registration consent form.

Technical and support information may include IP address, browser/device information, request and security logs, errors, abuse reports and correspondence you provide. Do not send passwords, complete payment-card numbers or unnecessary sensitive information in support messages.

3. How and why information is used

We use information to create and secure accounts, provide battles and game progression, save collections and Kingdom state, connect friends, display rankings, fulfill purchases, answer requests and administer the agreement. We also investigate fraud, cheating, account compromise and payment disputes, diagnose errors and improve reliability and game balance.

Where GDPR or comparable law applies, necessary account and gameplay processing relies on performance of the agreement; security and proportionate service improvement rely on legitimate interests balanced against your rights; legally required records rely on legal obligations. Processing that requires consent relies on specific, freely given consent that can be withdrawn. A guardian's approval of a minor's contract is distinct from legally required verified parental privacy consent.

4. Information other players can see

Your username, display name and relevant game statistics may be visible in leaderboards, friend features, matches and other player-facing game screens. Opponents can see game information revealed by the rules; hidden battle information is not intended to be made public. Your email, password and legal acceptance records are not displayed to other players.

Choose a display name that does not reveal private information. Content you share publicly or outside the game may be copied by others; we cannot control independent third-party use.

5. Sharing and service providers

Lovable Cloud and its infrastructure/authentication providers process hosting, account and database information on our behalf. Google processes information when you choose Google sign-in. Square processes enabled real-money checkouts and payment information under its own notice; checkout may share your email and order details. External font delivery through Google Fonts can disclose your IP address and browser request information to Google.

We may share necessary information with authorized personnel and professional advisers, or disclose it to comply with lawful requests, protect safety, investigate fraud or enforce rights. A merger or business transfer may involve relevant records, subject to applicable notice and privacy protections. We do not provide full payment-card details to other players; payment details entered at hosted checkout are handled by the payment provider.

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. The current game does not integrate a third-party targeted-advertising tracker. If that changes, we will update this notice and implement legally required choices before that processing starts.

6. Cookies, local storage and preferences

Essential browser storage maintains sign-in sessions and game preferences, including sound and assist settings. Hosting and authentication services may use necessary cookies or similar technologies for security and sessions. Blocking essential storage may prevent sign-in or prevent preferences from being remembered.

Registration acceptance is not consent to non-essential cookies. If optional analytics or advertising storage is introduced, legally required consent and withdrawal controls must be offered separately. You can clear browser storage and manage cookies in your browser; doing so does not delete server-side account records.

7. Retention and deletion

We retain account and gameplay data while needed to provide your active account. We retain orders, security logs, dispute records and policy acceptance evidence only as reasonably necessary for accounting, legal obligations, fraud prevention, resolving disputes and demonstrating agreements. Retention depends on record type, applicable law and unresolved issues, not an unlimited right to keep every record.

You may request account closure and deletion by email. We assess lawful exceptions, remove or de-identify information no longer needed, and explain relevant exceptions where required. Backup copies may persist until ordinary replacement cycles and are not kept for unrelated use. Deleting an account may end access to game content, subject to consumer rights. This policy does not claim that an automatic retention schedule or instant self-service deletion is currently available.

8. Security and international processing

We use access controls, authenticated requests and protected game records to reduce unauthorized access. No online service is perfectly secure. Secure your sign-in credentials and report suspected compromise promptly. Where required, we will notify affected people and authorities of qualifying personal-data breaches.

We operate in the United States and providers may process information in other countries with different laws. Where required, international transfers must rely on a lawful mechanism, such as applicable contractual safeguards. Contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your data. This notice does not claim certification under a transfer framework or appointment of a representative that has not been established.

9. Privacy rights and requests

Depending on your location, you may request access, a copy or portability of information, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw optional consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. You may complain to your local supervisory authority and exercise any applicable appeal rights.

Email westwoodequity@gmail.com with 'Privacy request' and your account identifier. We will reasonably verify identity, avoid collecting unnecessary verification information and respond within applicable statutory time limits. Authorized agents may submit requests with appropriate evidence. If we deny a request, you may reply with 'Privacy appeal' for review. We will not discriminate against you for exercising lawful rights.

10. United States state privacy disclosures

Where applicable state law grants rights, residents may request knowledge of collected personal-information categories, sources, purposes and recipients; access, correction or deletion; and opt out of sale, targeted-advertising sharing or qualifying profiling. Categories processed include identifiers, internet/device activity, commercial transactions and gameplay information; sources are you, gameplay, authentication and payment providers, and technical requests, as described above.

We do not sell information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use sensitive personal information to infer protected characteristics. We do not use gameplay ranking to make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. Recognized opt-out signals, including Global Privacy Control where applicable, will be respected for processing to which they apply; there is currently no sale or targeted-advertising processing to opt out of. Statutory rights apply only where the relevant law covers our processing.

11. Children and guardian approval

The game is not directed to children under 13 and registration is not permitted below 13 or any higher locally required minimum. Minors require guardian approval and any legally required verified parental privacy consent before registering. The registration age/guardian confirmation is self-attestation, not an identity or parental verification system.

If you believe a child registered below the applicable minimum age or without required approval, contact us. We will investigate and take appropriate steps, including restriction or deletion where required. Parents or guardians may request access or deletion of a child's information after appropriate verification. Do not register a child to bypass eligibility restrictions.

12. Policy updates and contact

We will publish updates with their effective date and provide appropriate notice for material changes. New consent will be requested when legally required; changes do not retroactively authorize incompatible uses. Contact Westwood Games, Inc. at westwoodequity@gmail.com for privacy, legal, account-deletion and refund requests.
